My cats :)

For a while, I've been living with multiple cats. some come and come, some stay. This page is dedicated to them.

1. Madeha - مديحة

Madeha is the first cat I've ever had. While I was a cat lover since childhood, I've never actually owned a cat, and I wasn't planning to. But, Madeha changed everything.

Before Madeha was "my cat", she was a stray that occassionally comes by next door for food and I'd give her some. Overitme, she grow some trust for me. And eventually I found her storming into my house to give birth to 3 lovely kitten. I named them Sousan (سوسن), Atres (عتريس), and Somaia (سمية) as the first group. Then she gave birth to Melakleka (ملكلكة) a couple of months later. And finally the last group of kittens, namely Dhufr (ظفر), Sekena (سكينة), Jaffar (جعفر), and Malaka (معلقة).

Unfortunately, Madeha probably passed away a couple of months ago (Early 2024). As she suddenly stopped coming by and I've never seen her again.

2. Sousan - سوسن

My only black cat. And she's currently the oldest. Sousan was the first child from Madeha, and was genuinely one of the happiest moments of my life seeing her.

Sousan was actually named "Atres" first. As I didn't know she was a female.

Currently, Sousan is the easiest to take care of. She doesn't meow or do anything besides roam around the house. She rarely picks up fights with other cats, but when that happens she gets destroyed, so I'd understand why she's a passive cat.

3. Somaia - سمية

Somaia is the second child of Madeha. She's by far the most adorable in terms of behavior and perrsonality. She was the first to sleep right next to me.

Somaia is also called Samalosa (صملوصة) as a nickname :D.

As cute as she is, Somaia hold the record for most valuables broken among all my cats. She broke a mug that I got as a gift from a friend :')

4. Atres - عتريس

Currently, the only male cat in the group.

Despite being the largest and having the sharpest nails, Atres is the most shy cat I have. and he's the safest to be around.

He's often careful and gets frightened by the gentlest of noises. If I accidentally drop a spoon on the floor, he'll jump high up in the air like a spring and run away

5. Melakleka (ملكلكة)

Melakleka wasn't born in t he previous group. She came a couple months later.

She also wasn't born in my house. Madeha gave birth to her somewhere else and brought her to my door, and then I became a dad to 4 cats (or 5 including Madeha).

So far, she's the strangest (in a good way). She's fast, furious, and crazy.

She likes to steal things and hide them and fight with other cats until they all get bored and sleep

6. Om Al Ogog (ام العجوج)

The first adopted cat.

Unlike other cats, Om Al Ogog was adopted. I took her from a neighbour who has struggling to take care of her. At this point, I had 5 cats still, because Madeha was gone :(

Om Al Ogog is the calmest cat I've ever seen. I'm not sure if this is normal for her breed. but oh my god she doesn't do anything. I could leave her in one spot and come back 3 days later and she's still sitting there.

She's yet to get along with any of my other cats. and always brutally attack them when they're around. She's smaller than all of them, but when a fight happens, she comes out a winner

7. Jaffar (جعفر), Dhufr (ظفر), Sekena (سكينة)، and Malaka (معلقة)

This group was the last to be born by Madeha before she abandons me.

She gave birth to them in my house, but I couldn't have any more cats. so I kept them until I found an owner to adopt them.

Later, Madeha left and never came back. RIP Madeha.
